Although the industrial style has become one of the most important trends in interior design during the last decades, its origin is much earlier. It was at the beginning of the twentieth century when the revolutionary and functional nineteenth-century Iron Architecture gave way to Industrial Architecture, factories, warehouses, workshops and offices that, as the name suggests, had an industrial function.
